On September 27th 2008, Green 4 All, 1 Sky, Al Gore's WE campaign and many other organizations and supporters against Global Warming are launching A National Day of Action. We are calling it, Green Jobs Now: A Day to Build the New Economy! In Northern Virginia, the Chesapeake Climate Action Network will host an event to educate, encourage and empower the local community to increase participation in and awareness of the green jobs movement. Green-collar jobs will pull people out of poverty and improve the planet we all live on and we need your support! Learn what a green job is, how to get trained for one, and what kind of businesses are hiring. Then see first hand what a green job can create as we tour the green engineered home of our host.
