Climate group hosts Dist. 24 state rep. candidate Sept. 25

Last month, Citizens Climate Lobby hosted a candidate forum with state legislative candidate Thomas Thomas to find out how he will support renewable energy. This month, CCL invites the public to attend a meeting with Kevin Van De Wege, the current State Representative for District 24 and candidate for reelection, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Masonic Hall (Jefferson and Van Buren) in Port Townsend.

The public discussion will focus on state-wide solutions for energy security and climate security. A box dinner will be available for those participants who also wish to attend the Public Power forum taking place in the same location at 7 pm on Sept. 25. Call 385-6579 for further information.
