Event Description:

The Massachusetts Green Jobs Coalition and Cambridge Local First is hosting a rally and celebration featuring an array of dynamic and diverse speakers including Denise Simmons, the City of Cambridge Mayor, and other public officials and community leaders. Lively local music will add to the festive atmmosphere of this important event. Several sponsoring organizations will have tables set up to talk about how they are working for green jobs now. After the event the Biodiesel Powered `Veggie Bus' will take people on a tour of local green sites and end up at the Green Jobs Now event in the Boston Common at 3:00 pm. A local film maker will be documenting the whole exciting day of activities. Please join us!
