I just wanted to post some pictures form the event and rally in Oakland. Great music, inspiring speakers and a lot of people out for a day in the park to mingle with the vendors, each others and support a green economy through green jobs creation.

Bright Green Talent had a great time meeting folks and discussing their Green Dream Jobs. Great event, and we were glad to take part!

On Saturday, September 27, we made history! With about 400 people in attendance, Oakland's National Day of Action event calling for Green Jobs Now was one of the biggest in the country. Oakland put forth a united call to action from youth and young adults of color demanding new opportunities and investment into an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty and solve the climate crisis.

On this blazing afternoon, Oakland's rising generation represented, by performing the hottest and most positive hip hop and soul music, while sharing testimonials of green-collar job training, employment opportunities and solutions. Thanks to the energetic strength and power of Oakland's community, we made our call clear, "We're ready for Green Jobs Now!"
