Simply wonderful event; an equal mix of green business owners, corporate represenatives, community activists and organizers, engaged / forward thinking students and members of the local citenzenry were on hand. Intellectual curiousity, expertise, talent, initiative, tolerance, steadfastness of personal beliefs and passion were palpable. It was a visable, tangible sign that we are not waiting for leadership to bring about change, we, in fact, are the leaders of this movement: a movement to take our country back. That government of the people, by the people, and for the people - from this moment on - is to indeed promote the general welfare of all stakeholders regarding income, education, housing, healthcare and justice. We had a wonderful event. We began with speaker Mark Robertson introducing green jobs, sustainability, and the impact on the economy, particularly in Arkansas. We then had plenty of time for networking with 16 local businesses and organizations supporting Green Jobs Now that were offering jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities for students. Thanks to the generosity of Massanelli's Cleaners, we enjoyed delicious organic and local pizza and salad from Za-Za Fine Salad and Wood-Oven Pizza Company.

Thanks to our sponsors: UALR Net Impact Chapter, Black Business Student Association, UALR College of Business (and Teresa Jordan), and Massanelli's Cleaners (and Len Pipkin).
