Event Report

Although I left just when things were getting started, Green Village Building Now, organized by Blacks In Green, was a fantastic event that brought people out to get their hands dirty with paint, dirt, and good food, at Our Lady of the Gardens School in Altgeld Gardens. Nearly one hundred people showed up for this event, which featured Kaotic Drumline, mobile mural painting courtesy of Little Black Pearl, and tree planting in the school's gardens. It was a beautiful day to be outside and here are some photos from the early part of the event.
