On Friday April 17, 2008 the green build open house celebration will be held in Kaibeto, Arizona on the Navajo Indian reservation. The strawbale house built by the Indigenous Community Enterprises, a non-profit corporation located in Flagstaff, Arizona, is the first of a kind to be built on the reservation. The two bedroom house is off-grid (powered by solar)custom built for a wheel-chaired bound Navajo veteran. Living proof that "green" is real.
