The national office of The Apollo Alliance has been spreading the word about Green Jobs Now through our expansive list serve. Many of our state and local chapters are having events around the country. Those of us in the bay area will be popping up at neighboring events.
We wanted also to show our support for green-collar jobs. So we gathered in front of our neighbor's place who happens to be one of our business partners - Swinerton, Inc - with some of the company employees. Swinerton is an example of the Apollo coalition - their building is designated LEED Gold, workers are union and the company is active in their community.
