On Sept 27, 2008 at the Five Points Community Farm Market we had our guests stand for a photo op with the sign stating Green Jobs Now! It didn't take but a sentence explaining what it was that we were doing to talk them into posing with it. There were conversations regarding our youth and the struggle they may have if we do not do something now. No more standing around and talking about it. Plans are developing to give those who need jobs a job that is new and green. We just need to be creative and make it happen.
It was a very inspirational day and I was excited to host this event. I just might start having one once a month.
It is great to see how many people are truly ready. So instead of waiting lets teach people they can create their own green job!
