Event Report

My event was very local -- a streetcorner farmers' market in a very small town. I had 15 people, including a candidate for state office, stop, chat and sign the petition. I plan to take the petition to our annual environmentalists' fundraiser dinner for more signatures. Everyone here is very interested in getting job training to come to our local community college, as over half of the area's graduates go on to schooling at that institution, rather than to four-year universities, and they want to keep young people in the area.
