There was a large open house for each of the 4 green built houses in the subdivision. Each house had a specific theme that featured a green building technique. King Middle School made a field trip of it and brought 80 students to tour the houses. Several local architects attended as well as construction company executives. The Governor and the Chair of the State Labor Committee also toured the site.
